Hi guys!
As you know, one of my best singers is Tiken Jah Fakoly. I discovered him by Internet, when I was looking for Alpha Blondy’s music.
Seydou Koné, called Alpha Blondy was born in the Ivory Coast (1953). He is one of the best African Reggae-man, recognized around the world. He has done concerts in USA, Canada, Argentina, Costa Rica, Vanuatu, Australia, Africa, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Catalonia, Sweden, Neederlands, Italy, France, etc. His songs are in his native language (Dioula) and other languages like French and English. In some songs, he also sings in Arabic or Hebrew. His lyrics are focused in Africa, politics and the rastafarism (peace, ganja, religion, love…).
He is the first son of a 19 children family. Incredible, but true! When he was 20 years old, his father sent him to Monrovia (major city of Liberia) to learn English. For this reason, he dedicated a song to Liberia, called “Peace in Liberia”.
I recommend you the following songs:
A lot of recommendations, but... he is the best!!!
Find some of them videos:
1/3- Desert Storm
2/3- Travailler c'est trop dur
3/3- Brigadier Sabari
Take care and be freak my friend!
Tender-man, by Clash
PS: Thank's Alpha Blondy for your music!
